“Watson: The Final Problem” in London at last – and with a special discount for Society members!

It’s been a long time coming, but Bert Coules’s one-man play Watson: The Final Problem, written in collaboration with Tim Marriott, will be at the Chelsea Theatre in late March and early April.

And yes – the Theatre has a special discount offer for members of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London!

“John Watson (Tim Marriott) is alone. His beloved wife Mary and the great Sherlock Holmes are both gone. But London seethes with false reports and rumour. It is time to set the record straight.
“So Watson tells his tale of long buried secrets, betrayal and death. There is a shadow in the gutters of London. A spider’s web of poisonous intrigue lies across the city. Someone is playing a long game and Holmes and Watson must face their greatest ever challenge. But as Watson unravels the story, is the game really over?”

Our distinguished member Bert Coules, BSI (do you really need reminding?) created the BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of the complete Holmes canon, starring Clive Merrison & Michael Williams.
He went on to write four series of The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes for Clive Merrison & Andrew Sachs.
