Three pipes? No – three minutes!

For our 20th March 2020 meeting at the National Liberal Club we are reviving a format which we have not used for a number of years – Three Minute Problems.
That’s not a trio of minuscule conundrums!
Instead, members are invited to come prepared to speak for up to three minutes on any topic relating to the Sherlock Holmes stories. The talk can be as serious or as tongue in cheek as you like. The Chairman will keep speakers strictly to the three minutes allotted. The order of speaking will be decided by names drawn from a hat.
This is the ideal opportunity to propound a pet theory, start a new controversy, or simply raise a point that has always intrigued you.
The floor will be yours – for no more than three minutes.
If you would like to contribute to the meeting please contact Catherine Cooke by email (c.cooke@dsl.pipex.com) and let her know your name, email address and the title of your talk.
