The Society is delighted to learn that our distinguished member, Bob Neill, M.P., has been awarded a Knighthood in the New Year honours list.
Bob is a good friend to the Society and has sponsored many of our Dinners at the House of Commons. We hope this friendship continues for many years to come.
Another friend of the Society, Jo Johnson, did not stand at the recent General Election and can no longer sponsor our Dinners.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Jo for giving us access to his ‘place of work’ over the last few years. Jo will remain as a Member of the Society and will always be welcome to join us at any of our events.
Jo was succeeded in the Orpington Constituency by Gareth Bacon, M.P., and we are pleased to announce that Gareth has agreed to sponsor this year’s Dinner. We look forward to welcoming Gareth, and his wife Cheryl, at the Dinner.
