Here is a brand new and shocking take on Sherlock Holmes, by David Stuart Davies. David is the author of two very popular solo plays about Sherlock Holmes, as well as many highly acclaimed Holmes novels, critical studies of Holmes, and the definitive biography of Jeremy Brett’s all but definitive performance. David is a world-renowned Sherlockian, a member of the Baker Street Irregulars, and the provider of commentaries for the DVD box-sets of both the Jeremy Brett and Basil Rathbone Holmes productions.
He brings all this experience and expertise to bear on a truly original look at Holmes and Watson. Expect the unexpected!
Michael Daviot and Mark Kydd are well known figures on the Edinburgh theatre scene, both having recently performed highly acclaimed solo shows, respectively ‘Don Quixote Unbound’ and ‘There Were Two Brothers.’
Emily Ingram is an exciting young dramaturge and director who founded Some Kind of Theatre, Edinburgh’s literary theatre company, and Shakespeare on the Sofa.
All are very excited to be working together to present this bold new investigation into the most famous relationship in the world of detective fiction.
