“Every year The Sherlock Holmes Society of London play a match against The P G Wodehouse Society, know as “The Gold Bats,” at the beautiful West Wycombe Cricket Club in Buckinghamshire.
On the famous West Wycombe hill can be seen the Dashwood Mausoleum and the church of Saint Lawrence.  The match is played under Victorian rules. There’s even a resident red kite and a fielder wearing red braces!”

Overseas members of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London have always needed to pay higher subscription rates than UK based members to cover the extra cost of postage and packaging for mailing the Sherlock Holmes Journal outside the UK. The Society is now changing the way it presents its membership prices so that the subscription is the same for UK and non-UK members, but the additional postage and packaging that are associated with overseas membership is now added on as a separate postage cost.

If you are looking to buy membership as a gift or multiple memberships, or if you experience difficulty with applying online, please contact the Membership Secretary:
