A guided visit to the Thames Police Museum at Wapping Police Station

The Thames Police Museum at Wapping Police Station is contained within an old Carpenter’s workshop. During the visit we will find out how The Thames Marine Police Force became the world’s first organised body of police in response to the huge amount of criminal activity that plagued the Thames in the late eighteenth century.
