“I drove to the London Library in St James’s Square”
May 5, 2016 - May 8, 2016
The London Library, where Dr Watson went to consult his friend Lomax the sub-librarian, celebrates its 175th anniversary this year and we have an exciting 4 day event planned to mark this event – WORDS IN THE SQUARE: Celebrating 175 Years Of Inspiration at The London Library (5 – 8 May 2016).
There are many events that we think could be of interest to members of The Sherlock Holmes Society of London, but in particular we have a discussion on The Golden Age of Murder on Saturday 7 May, when authors Martin Edwards, Kate Summerscale, Simon Brett and James Runcie will discuss the enduring appeal of crime writing. More details of all the events are included on the this brochure Words in The Square programme or online www.londonlibrary.co.uk/175.
