There is something about Saturday morning cartoons that brings out the daftest ideas. "A defrosted Holmes teamed with a robotic Watson and a female Inspector Lestrade have to stop the criminal rampage of Moriarty's clone." With me so far? Many of the titles to the episodes look familiar, although whether "inspired" is quite the right phrase for some of the plot lines is debatable. (The Hounds of the Baskervilles seems to involve werewolves on the moon, for example). Nevertheless, the show has some decent graphics and animation and seems to please its intended audience (under 10s, or a very high level of suspension of disbelief in over 10s). Currently in its second season. For those that can bear it, a full listing of the episodes is here.
