Alas, owing to matters entirely beyond the Society’s control, there will be no match on the 23rd June.

Unfortunately “The Gold Bats” of the P.G. Wodehouse Society, our regular opponents in the annual Victorian Cricket Match, have had to withdraw from this year’s match, and at such short notice Peter Horrocks, Captain of the Sherlock Holmes Society’s Eleven, has been unable arrange for a another team to play against us.
