Mr Douglas Wilmer in Conversation
The Society’s March Meeting was held on Tuesday 24th March 2009 at The Savage Club, housed in the premises of the National Liberal Club.
The evening was a great success, with the launch of Douglas Wilmers memoirs 'Stage Whispers' and the opportunity to hear Mr Douglas Wilmer in conversation with Mr Nick Utechin discussing his acting career in general and his role as Holmes in particular.
Douglas Wilmer is one of the most versatile character actors the British theatre has ever produced, ranging from light comedy to the classics to heavy drama and for many people he remains the Sherlock Holmes.
If you were unable to attend the event, or if you'd like to enjoy the conversation again it is available below in full.
