The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes!
May 23 @ 7:30 pm - May 26 @ 7:30 pm
Just over a mile from Undershaw, Arthur Conan Doyle’s one-time home at Hindhead in Surrey, is the village of Grayshott, where St Luke’s churchyard houses the graves of Sir Arthur’s mother, his first wife Louisa, and their son Kingsley.
To celebrate this connection, The Grayshott Stagers are performing a production of Leslie Bricusse’s West End musical The Revenge of Sherlock Holmes at Grayshott Village Hall on the 23rd – 26th May 2018.
What appears at first to be the final confrontation between master detective Sherlock Holmes and his perennial arch-enemy, Professor Moriarty, proves to be more than even Holmes bargained for: he finds himself facing an old-but-new enemy whose determination to outwit and destroy the great detective is even greater than before.
The ensuing intellectual cat-and-mouse games between these two larger-than-life figures form the exciting centrepiece of this original musical, hailed by the Daily Express as “An extremely lively …. zestful cartoon parody.”
