The Phantom Hound haunts rural Middlesex!

October 5 @ 7:30 pm - October 7 @ 10:00 pm

Argosy Players present the autumn drama in their 70th season…

Sherlock Holmes's greatest adventure – The Hound of the Baskervilles, adapted for the stage by Simon Williams.

In the famous flat at 221B Baker Street the great detective impatiently awaits his next case. Enter Dr Mortimer, arrived from Devonshire with an 18th century manuscript telling of the lecherous Hugo Baskerville and the curse that his evil deeds brought upon his house and his descendants.

Holmes and his trusty colleague Dr Watson must wrestle with events that appear to be beyond the bounds of nature. At Baskerville Hall the enigmatic butler, Barrymore, moves furtively about by night, lantern in hand, while out on the bleak moorland the country folk fear the curse of the Hound.

An ancient family curse, a desolate moor, a spectral hound, and a deranged killer on the loose. The game is afoot…

For Holmes and Watson it is a three-pipe problem!
