The Hound creeps closer to Conan Doyle country…

August 30 @ 7:30 pm - September 2 @ 10:00 pm

From the 30th August to the 2nd September the StageHouse at Portsmouth's New Theatre Royal will be haunted by a horrible hairy hound and a defective detective!

A fast-paced, far-fetched spoof of The Hound of the Baskervilles. Conan Doyle’s famous novel is given a fondly farcical overhaul in this caper through London, the moors, and back to Baker Street.

This production of The Hound of the Baskervilles is being performed in our studio space, created using the adaptable facilities of the main stage. It uses an unallocated seating layout, so you will select your seats on arrival.

The Peepolykus adaptation by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, performed by Torchlight Mysteries. An amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.

17 characters, 3 actors, 1 heck of a laugh!
