The Barrow Boy and Banker
For those who require food, lunch has been arranged at The Barrow Boy and Banker public house for 1.30pm. The pub is situated at 8, Borough High Street, London SE1 9QQ. For those attending The Old Operating Theatre, this is short walk along St. Thomas Street and crossing over Borough High Street. The pub is situated almost where London Bridge begins.
For those wishing to go onto The Charterhouse, it may be prudent to have one course as travelling time between the two venues may be limited.
For the main course, Roast Sirloin of Owtons’ Dry aged beef or Roast ½ Norfolk Chicken, 2 ways or a Nut Roast will be available, all served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, seasonal vegetables.
For pudding, Treacle Tart with Honeydew soused raspberries, Fuller’s vanilla ice cream or crème anglaise or Apple Pie with crème anglaise will be available.
The prices are £17.00 / US$ 23.80 per roast and £7.00 / US$ 9.80 per pudding. Coffees and teas can be ordered separately.
